Welcome

We'll have the pleasure of welcoming you to the Auberge de Cassagne - a superb hotel 5 km from Avignon. Your MondoSport coach will provide with the details of your provençal route. You'll make final adjustments to your personal or rental bike. Dinner at the hotel.

The Gorges de la Nesque

The numerous choices of trails offered along each route allow for adjusting the length according to your desires... or the shape you're in! Our coach will analyze your pedaling, advise you, and answer your questions. We'll take it easy on this first outing. You'll marvel at the Gorges de la Nesque and Mont Ventoux speaks for itself. Your first treatment session awaits you at the hotel and you'll appreciate the level of service.

Mont Ventoux

An exceptional day with "Provence's Giant" on our schedule!
105 kms with a 76 kms option. With its peak at an altitude of 1912 metres, Mont Ventoux represents one of the most beautiful climbs in all of Provence. A mythical mountain in Provence's history, you can discover from its summit one of Europe's most sweeping panoramas. The coach's advice will help you climb the giant effectively and you'll feel the thrill that thousands of cyclists have experienced just like you in reaching the summit. (advised gears: cyclotourist triple plate, cyclosport 39/27).
The assistance vehicle will ensure supplies and aid. You'll be dressed for the downhill descent. After such a memorable climb, you'll head to Fontaine de Vaucluse for a well deserved rest. Our specialist will lavish you with a massage to help you recover. Dinner at the hotel.

The Baux de Provence

Today, it's 95 kms with the possibility of a shorter route 60 kms long. The Luberon is an ideal region for pedaling. Winding backroads, repeated bumps, very little traffic - all assets used by our coach to help you progress.
You'll use the large gear plate, but don't forget to be amazed by the sites along your way. Gordes can boast about being one of the most beautiful villages in France with its cobblestone lanes winding between houses built right into the cliffs. Gordes' territory also includes the village of Bories, all together unique and extraordinary, there are curious rounded buildings made of dry stone. Stopover at Baux de Provence, hotel... Recovery massage. Dinner at the hotel.

Avignon

The Alpilles !
As its name points out, it's a climb! The coach proposes enjoying yourself for this last outing. Test yourself and notice the progress you've made in climbing the Baux !
Perched on a rocky outcrop, the village of Baux de Provence overlooks superb landscapes such as Arles, Camargue and the Alpilles mountain range giving you breathtaking panoramas. This superb immense rock fortress is without a doubt a "must see" in Provence! At the end of this unforgettable provençal journey, a shuttle will take you back to Avignon.

Check-up Médico-Sportif

Prior to your departure, we recommend going to a sports medicine centre for a stress test. A true test of your exercise level, this check-up will determine your limits and will be taken into consideration between you and your coach.

Coaching

You've set goals for yourself either for pure pleasure, for performance or to finish - we will stick by you to reach your goals together.
Three months prior to your departure, your MondoSport coach will define your exercise profile with you and propose a personalized training program with follow-up based on your sports medical check-up or interview.
The coach will accompany you during your trip, lead your excursions, and ensure your recovery as well as a trouble free race for you.

We will take good care of you. Inspired by the same care that's provided for elite athletes, your MondoSport travel trip includes recovery and relaxation massages.
After every sporting activity, you will be taken care of at your hotel by a professional masseur or physical therapist.

A subtle mix of hospitality and authentic charm, your hotel was chosen because of its unique character. It will be the ideal spot to relax and enjoy friendly service at the end of an active day.
Your luggage will be forwarded every day by your guide who will also ensure aid and supplies. A country lunch will be served along your route.
