Firenze Marathon

With roughly 8,000 participants starting off at the Piazzale Michelangiolo, the Florence marathon lets you discover the city's main tourist attractions with each step you take such as the splendid green park "Delle Cascine" before crossing the finish line at the Piazza Santa Croce.

Your Trip

From Paris to Florence

Meet your MondoSport coach late morning before flight takeoff to Florence. Upon arrival in the afternoon, we will accompany you to your downtown hotel. Feel free to discover Florence's charm. You will dine in a restaurant near the hotel which we've preselected.

Did you say Fiat 500?

Accompagnied by your coach, run through Florence during a morning jog that's roughly 10 km. Upon your return, we'll take good care of you and we propose a massage to help you recover. Lunch will be served at a restaurant which we've preselected. A hostess will be available to provide you with your race number.
In the afternoon, we propose "historical Fiat 500" excursion in the heart of Tuscany's countryside and its rolling hills! Dinner is on your own - see our list of suggested restaurants.

Your Florence Marathon

Your coach and hostess will accompany you to the marathon start line. Travel companions may meet up with the runners at the finish line. Back at the hotel, we propose a recovery massage. Lunch and the rest of the day are on your own.
We'll celebrate your exploit together during a gourmet dinner at a trendy downtown restaurant.

Return

You would like to organize your morning. We can suggest various activities. Lunch is on your own.
Meet your MondoSport coach back at your hotel at the end of the morning to fly back to Paris in the early afternoon.

Check-up Médico-Sportif

Prior to your departure, we recommend going to a sports medicine centre for a stress test. A true test of your exercise level, this check-up will determine your limits and will be taken into consideration between you and your coach.

Coaching

You've set goals for yourself either for pure pleasure, for performance or to finish - we will stick by you to reach your goals together.
Three months prior to your departure, your MondoSport coach will define your exercise profile with you and propose a personalized training program with follow-up based on your sports medical check-up or interview.
The coach will accompany you during your trip, lead your excursions, and ensure your recovery as well as a trouble free race for you.

Soins

We will take good care of you. Inspired by the same care that's provided for elite athletes, your MondoSport travel trip includes recovery and relaxation massages.
After every sporting activity, you will be taken care of at your hotel by a professional masseur or physical therapist.

Hotel

The establishment is the work of the recent restoration of the Borghese Palace combining respect for the traditional architecture and modern luxury. For your comfort, a bar and wellness centre with a sauna, turkish bath and weight room are available. The hotel's central location allows you to visit all of the historic downtown on foot: The splendid Piazza della Signoria with the Uffizi gallery, the picturesque Ponte Vecchio...
